Habit: Multi-stemmed 2 to 4 ft tall corm forming plant similar to other Liatris species
but much more drought tolerant.
Grows in very dry sandy soils to well drained loams.
Provides abundant nectar for pollinating insects in late summer through fall.
This plant as with all liatris species is considered deer resistant.
